Book Cover Re-Design: Neuromancer

Neuromancer is an iconic, Cyberpunk novel. With that in mind, I tried to keep the feel of an 80s, dystopian science fiction thriller while re-designing the cover.

Process:

These were the original thumbnails and concepts I came up with while preparing for the re-design. I ended up focusing on the final sketch as my chosen design. I’d already been gathering stock photos in preparation and found a few that fit my theme. I wanted a grungy, 80s street poster vibe, with the title of the book layered over it with a Neo-Tokyo, Cyberpunk city in the background.
